One of the leading home accents today are candles that have a rich scent.  Many of these quality scented candles are used in aromatherapy for relaxation, I use them just because they smell good.

If you are using a scented candle as a home accent, pick a color that is not pre-dominant in the room. Use your candles to add a different color to brighten things up, the same way you would use flowers.
