Need a blender that can blend, chop, mix and make you a drink at the same time

What kind of blender should you buy

There are about 7 different kinds of blenders that all do a special job. You don't need to own all of these because there are models that will do just as good a job blending up you special recipe or drink.

Minimum amount of power you want in this time of blender is 525 Watts of power and up to 5 speeds for fineness control so you can make tall drinks, fruit purees, shakes, sorbets, even hot soups. You also need strong sharp blades that can crush ice quickly. The more speeds and blender has does not make it any better. The only other option that you will probably want is a pulse button for crushing ice. The pulse motion allows the ice or what ever you are blending up to fall back down into the bottom so the knives can cut into it again.

This is the most popular blender in my kitchen in the summertime. It is a home slush machine, by nostalgia electrics. This slush machine uses crushed ice or small ice cubes from your freezer, ordinary table salt and a small amount of water.
