Indoor Home Accessory
There is one interesting accessory for the home that most people do not think about, and that is bonsia trees. Thee small indoor trees are not very difficult to grow even for a beginner. They make a very interesting home accent and are very much appreciated as a house warming gift.
A bonsai is not a genetically dwarfed plant. It is any tree or type of shrub species that is growing but kept small by branch and root pruning. In theory any species could be used, although plants with small leaves and twigs would generally make a better bonsai. This would help to create the illusion of a larger tree in miniature. Properly maintained bonsai can have life spans, some over a hundred years old. It is a great form of relaxation and stress reduction. It is very exciting to see the vision we had of the plant take shape over time.
This dwarf Juniper from Japan is the most popular evergreen in the U.S. When we think of a traditional bonsai and what it should look like, we think of a "Juniper Procumbens Nana." They are very hardy, long-lived, and tolerate many adverse conditions. Trained in the traditional style, this Juniper Procumbens is popularly known as the "Karate Kid" tree.

Cheaper Wall Treatments
What do you do if you are remodeling and you are just about ready to paint, but one wall is more work to get ready than you really want to do?
One easy way if the wall needs major work is to hide it with a curtain, which will also make an interesting room accent. What you would do is box in the perimenter of the wall with the same color of paint you will be using for the rest of the room. Paint at lest a foot and a half in from the four corners. Then when everything is dry hang a curtain rod near the ceiling, metal curtain rods are expensive so you could use a long piece of wood doweling from a lumber yard or a couple of shorter pieces with a center bracket.
Choose a fabric that is interesting and coordinates with the rest of your decor and then place a decorative finial at each end of the curtain rod to dress it up a bit.

Houseware and kithcen gadgets
The kitchen needs it's own personality and what makes it interesting is what you display on your countertop. Tables, chairs, stools and lighting also play an important role as far as comfort and function go. But once people are seated at the table, it is your choice in design and style in houseware decor that catches the eye.
The most searched houseware product and the one that is updated most frequently are dishes and serving platters. The shape and color enhance our visual appetite when it comes to viewing what is on our plate. It doesn't matter whether it is stoneware, china or Corel ware, what matters is that it compliments the rest of the decor near the dining area.
Adding a new gadget in the kitchen to make meal preparation go smoother and faster is just plain smart time management. Most of us don't want to be stuck in the kitchen for hours at a time preparing meals or snacks. It's not that we don't like to do it, it's more of being singled out and separated from the action. If everyone congregated in the kitchen are this wouldn't be a problem.
Simple additions can make a task go quicker, from a better cheese grater to a smoothie maker or juicer. You have heard of construction workers saying that you need the proper tool to get the job done right. Well the kitchen is no different. If you want to prepare meals quickly it must be done properly. The only way to do that is with the right kitchen utensil to do that with.
Vacuum Cleaners a Powerful Tool
One of the most imoportant tools we have in our homes is thse vacuum cleaner. This is especially true for peole with allergies, a household vacuum will pick up nearly all of the allergens that affect most people, pet hairs and dander, dust and pollen.
The selections rang from uprights, stick or broom styles to central vacuum systems. The latter becoming very popular because of it's high quality. Installations is releatively simple and the cost is comparative to highter priced cleaners. Think of it as an investment towards your families health.
The benefits include:
Convience because they eliminate the need to pack a heavy canister vacuum around the house, great for people with back problems.
Heathier air in the home because you do not recirculate dirty air back into the room which decreases the amount of dust and allerens in the air.
Power, most of these vacs have at least 4 to 5 times the power of a standard vacuum cleaner.
The noice level is much quieter.
Versatility, these machines come with all the attachments that portables have.
In a perfect world it would be nice to think of installing these when we first build a house or when starting major home rennovations. But the truth is that they can be installed in any home with only a few simple adjustments.

Bold, simple lines is what you should look for. Cocktail tables should be of a height that is close to the same height as your cushions of the furniture that it is being used for. You don't wnat to be leaning to far forward inorder to place a coffee cup on it (this creates back strain and makes it uncomfortable as a conversation area.

Interior decorative lighting needs in the bathroom
Illuminating your home with decorative home lighting in the bathroom and other areas of the home
For grooming and putting on makeup, vanity lighting becomes the main feature in a bathroom or powder room. One of the biggest mistakes that people make is placing recessed lighting over the mirrors. What happens is they cast shadows on the face which makes it hard to see an even skin tone.
If your are needing designer lighting for the bathroom or would like to view and compare different types of lighting that you can use in the bathroom visit this online retailer;
Recessed lighting is better suited for the kitchen, as task lighting over the counter area. For the bathroom wall sconces work better on each side of the mirror, which gives you even light on both sides of your face. If your space is too small for this style, you can use a light bar above the mirror as long as it contains a minimum of 150 watts total in bulbs, 200 would be better. Don't forget about the shower area it too needs proper light. You could use recessed ceiling fixtures in this area.

Keeping Pets Out of The Garden
If we own a dog or our neighbors have a cat sooner or later this issue is going to come up. It is a bigger problem for homeowners that don't own a pet. How do we keep our pets or our neighbors out of our yard or garden area. Spring will be here soon and it will be time to get our lawns and gardens ready for the planting season. Nobody wants to use a product that is harmful to animals but sometimes fertilizers and chemicals can do just that.
Proper training of course is the first course of action but with cats this really is not an option. In rural areas deer and rabbits are a problem. For envirometally friendly people there is one animal control product that I have found and used with fairly good results. It is an motion activated sprinkler.
You can view this product from here Scarecrow Motion Activated Sprinkler
The cost is minimal and you can use it to water your garden and lawn at the same time. It is a clean and effective alternative to smelly, poisonous,or visually disruptive repellents. Just hook up to your garden hose, plug in the battery and point it over the area to be protected.
How it worksScarecrow senses animals the same way security lights detect people: movement and heat. When an animal is seen, a valve opens, instantly releasing a three-second pulsating spray of water. The combination of the sudden noise, movement, and water frightens animals away. This startling, yet harmless action is a remarkably effective deterrent. protected.
