Wesley Allan Metal Beds
A decorating friend of mine Louis called me up the other day to come over and look at her new bed she just received. It turns out she mostly wanted me to help her set it up. I was more than surprised to see that she had bought a beautiful Wesley Allen iron bed for herself. She had wanted new bedroom furniture for a long time but couldn't make up her mind on the style.
Being a stickler for quality I began looking over how well the wesley allen company built this wrought iron metal bed. The quality of welds is the most important feature when buying wrought iron furniture. The first thing I noticed was the heavy gauge iron they used and the welds were smooth and complete. They then poured a decorative casting over this to make a very solid one piece. The finish is powdered coated with a designer color and then baked on. I know a little about welding and powder coating because my dad was a welder. These manufacturing features produce a very strong and high quality piece of furniture. The next bit of business I looked at was the warranty that wesley allen offers - the limited lifetime warranty was a good offer.
Being impressed with the craftsmanship of this furniture, I started looking online to see what other styles they made. What a surprise I got! There are far too many to mention ( if you want to see all iron beds for yourself just go here

Barcelona canopy iron bed
Prices range around 650 dollars for these beds. Some can be purchased complete with a trundle and return posts. This style of bed is a very nice display of Spanish flare.
My 12 year daughter picked this bed, its called the beaumont by wesley allen and it is only $350 dollars (bless her for picking a cheaper bed). This one has a slatted frame with circles for a headboard and footboard. The frame can be used with most trundle units.
I liked the brasilia model, because it is a nice transition from contemporary to modern. The design was influenced by the orderly alignment of the streets in Brazils capital city.

Wood Rocking Chairs
There is one furniture piece that every home needs to have in one room or another and that is a rocking chair. These classic wooden chairs are timeless and never go out of fashion or style, the same styles that were produced a hundred years ago are still being made today.
There are three rooms that have always been popular to have a rocking chair in and they are the family room, den and probably the most popular, the nursery.

Cooking Gadgets
We have just added a new kitchen gadget section to our site that we are pretty excited about.
Many of our readers have been asking about Pfaltzgraff dinnerware and gifts. it seems this company is becoming quite popular for finding hard to find replacement sets and cooking gadgets.
Presentation is everything when it comes to serving your family and guests. I have had a few dinners turn out (not quite as planned), but with my decorative serving sets and dishes most people didn't even notice. They did however notice how nice everything looked.
Cooking gadgets and tools used in the kitchen are by far the most useful accessories you can buy. They are fun to use and most importantly the help speed up meal preparation time which is very important. With the right kind of kitchen tool you will be cooking like a gourmet chef. Over the past number of years I have wanted to make many kinds of recipes that called for specialty cookware and even serving dishes.
