Decorating a home office
If your are going to decorate a home office pay particular attention to your colors and the amount of light it gets.
Making a home office in a basement corner with no windows will affect how you feel and ultimately affect how much work you are going to get done. I fit is dark and dismal you will be coming out of there more often to take a break.
Decorate your walls with light and bright colors and hang a few outdoor pictures on the walls. Place your desk near a window if possible with a blind that you can angle to keep bright sun out of your eyes. Winter moneths and rainy days are the hardest days to feel comfortable in if you use earth tone colors through out your office decor.
If your small home based business recieves clients now and then a bright airy feeling to a room is very important for your customers to feel at ease. You can do this simply by placing a few flowers around the room. A coffee machine and water cooler will also help.
