Decorating large walls with something unique other than using wallpaper is modern choice that most decorators would choose. One of the main home decor items that is ideal for this situation is a wall hanging. A wall tapestry is usually what most people would like to hang.
Some times people will use a particularl nice persian area rug, but the problem with these are they are a little heavy and are harder to hang. A tapestry on the other hand is made just for this purpose and can be hung on a tapestry rod that is designed for this purpose.
The average size that you want to use is about 2 feet by 3 feet, whcih is good for most sized walls in living rooms and dining rooms.
