Cellular window shades and blinds

How do I allow more natural light into a room without it fading my furniture?
That's a good question and an important one in the interior design industry. We don't always want to have our blinds closed or slanted so much that we can't see outside.

One way to do this is with a cellular shade. They are sort of like a pleated shade with the sizes running from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inch. They are pull cord operated and can have the same color backing if you want. Cellular shades normally come with a white backing. There are about 25 different colors for you to choose from.
If you are unfamiliar with this type of blind they are ideal as a room darkening or light filtering window blind. You can choose the amount of light that comes in by buying a heavier fabric or simply by raising or lowering the shade. These are the best window shades for when you want a uniform look from the outside of your home. Cellular shades are ideal in the kitchen or breakfast nook. Another benefit of these particular blinds are they fit well in behind shears and curtains. They seem to blend in with the facric creating a beautiful warm look and feel to your room.
